Larry McCollum

Robert Larry McCollum passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019, at his residence. He was born in Reidsville on October 26, 1937, to Rossie Shuman McCollum and Leon McCollum. He was a graduate of Georgia Military Academy, Atlanta, Georgia, served in the U.S. army, was a retired lumber broker, and a member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joy McCollum of Reidsville; son, Bobby (Yung) McCollum of Weston, Florida and daughter, Nancy (Allen) Lindsey of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; grandchildren, Dr. Brittney (Dr. Alex) Spivak, Ryan McCollum, Alyssa, Kenneth and Emma Lindsey.

Memorial funeral service was held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 12, 2019 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Reverend Marc Foster officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Reidsville United Methodist Church, PO Box 218, Reidsville, GA  30453.

Low Country Cremation and Burial served the McCollum family.
