Laura Hand

Laura Hand was born on February 25, 1951, age 73, of Hazlehurst, Ga; died on September 27, 2024 from a tree falling on her mobile home. She was preceded by her father (Elmer E. Stanton, Sr.), mother (Margaret E. Cowher), 4 sisters (Barbra Hopwood, Nancy Robenolt, Ellenor Hayes, and Loretta Treat), and 1 brother (Elmer E. Stanton, Jr.). 

Laura left behind 1 brother (Richard O. Stanton) and his wife (Marion), 2 children (James A. Dry and Nichole L. Dykes), 4 grandchildren (Justin Bohannon, Chelsey Sheffield, Madison Lytle, and Ronald Dykes), and several nieces and nephews.

 Laura will be missed. Blessed are those who have gone ahead. Bless those who wait to be united.
