L.B. "Sonny" Kennedy

L. B. "Sonny" Kennedy, age 83, of Cumming, formerly of Claxton, GA, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017.  The Evans County native had lived in Cumming for many years.  He was Korean War Veteran and retired from Georgia Power Company.  Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, Lefler and Susie Mae Kennedy; siblings, James D. Kennedy and Patsy Sapp.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Kennedy of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Rhonda, Mel and Sheryl, Scott and Nancy; sister, Sue Nell Moore; grandchildren, Nathan and Brittany, Ethan and Dalton, Jamie and Amanda, Melissa and Erik, Mallory and Ashley, Levi and Savannah; great grandchildren, Victoria, James, Kendall.

Graveside services will be on held on Monday, March 20,2017 at 2:00 pm at Brewton Cemetery in Hagan with the Reverend Chuck Jonas officiating.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Kennedy family.
