Leon Mitchell Pinnell, Sr. age 65 passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his residence. He was a graduate of Northside High School, served in the United States Air Force and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Everett Pinnell; his father, Leon Shaw Pinnell and his mother, Willie Maude Ray Pinnell.

He is survived by his long time mate: Phyllis LaBonte; son, Leon Mitchell Pinnell, Jr; daughters, Laura Lynn Hydrick and Amanda M Wade; grandsons, Justin Pinnell and Joshua Hydrick; granddaughters, Jacquelyn Ramirez, Alysa and Makenzie Hydrick of South Carolina, Alexandrea Wade and Jazmin Clodfeler of Georgia; four great-grandsons; sister, Vicki Dutcher; one nephew and one niece.

He will be laid to rest with his Dad in a private ceremony in Eastman, Ga.
