Mr. Levon Johnson, age 68 passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Crisp Regional Hospital. He was born on July 7, 1954 in Glennville to Claude and Thelma Young Johnson. Levon was a US Army veteran and had lived in Glennville for most of his life. He attended and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Pembroke. He loved to cook, socialize and spend time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Earl Mincey, Causey Mincey, Ollie Mincey, Fenton Mincey, Cleveland Mincey, Dorsey Mincey, Clara Jean Mincey and Alita Dean Mincey;

He is survived by his two sisters-in-law, Betty Mincey and Beautine Mincey; nieces and nephews, Marcus Mincey, Sharon Mincey, Antonio Mincey, Tammy Mincey, Denise Mincey Johnson, Nicole Mincey, Lee Mincey, Casandra Mincey, Derrick Mincey, Donnie Mincey, Sonya Mincey, Celia Mincey, Reginald Brown, Jerrod Mincey, Carlinda Mincey, Rose Mincey and Coretta Mincey. Also survived by numerous other relatives.

Family will receive friends beginning at 10:30am on Friday, January 6, 2023 with funeral services to follow at 11:30am from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with Pastor Jerome Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Derrick Mincey, Donald Jinks, Stanley Mincey, Marcus Mincey, Dre Mincey and Derrick Johnson.

Everyone is welcome to attend the repast following the service at the VFW Hall, 809 W. Barnard St. Glennville, GA.
