Lillie D. Nelson, age 58 passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital from a sudden illness. The Folkston native had lived in Reidsville most of her life. Ms. Lillie was a homemaker that loved to drink coffee and see about others. She was of the Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by her step-father, Ronald Eugene Cole, Sr.; brother, Chris Nelson.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia Cole of Reidsville; children, Volly Nelson and Cathy Nelson both of Reidsville; siblings, Timothy (Betty) Nelson of Jacksonville, Shirlene (Paul) Rooney of Yulee, FL., Michelle (Eric) Broward of Jacksonville, Wendy (Derrick) Harrison of Glennville, Ronald (Angel) Cole of Brunswick; 4 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held 6:00pm Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Reverend Kenny Edwards officiating. Burial will be private.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Nelson family.
