Linda G. Clifton, age 72 passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Faulkville native had lived in Screven County for most of her life and was a member of Goloid First Baptist Church in Sylvania. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a waitress who truly enjoyed caretaking for the elderly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Clifton; children, Carol F. Strickland, Terri M. Strickland, Louisa G. Strickland, Louis M. Strickland, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Strickland; sister, Lillian (John) Sweat; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Graveside services will be held 10:30am Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Screven Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Eaton officiating.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Clifton family.
