Linda Darlene (Woods) Collins

Linda D. Collins, age 70 passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Affinis Hospice. The Wayne County native had lived in Reidsville most of her life. Mrs. Linda was retired from Rogers Correctional Institution and she was a caregiver for many years. She was a member of Reidsville Church of God and was preceded in death by her parents, Guy R. and Ruby Lee Morris Woods; siblings, Gerald Woods, Eugene Woods, Bobby Woods, Willard Woods and Imogene Henderson.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Wiley) Harden of Oxford, Vanda Wilsey of Jesup, James (Deidra) Corbitt of Reidsville, Lamanda (Virlyn) Nix of Jesup, and Renee (Dale) White of Reidsville; sister, Viola (David) Hubbs of Jesup;  11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Saturday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 3:30pm Sunday, January 15, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Reverends William Prince and David Hubbs officiating. Burial will be private.
