Linda Mae (Iddins) Corbin

Reidsville

Linda Mae Corbin, age 70, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. She was surrounded with loving family and friends. Linda was born in Reidsville, where she attended school and graduated from Reidsville High School in 1967. Linda will be remembered for her wide friendly smile that was given to everyone when she met them and always left them with a parting hug. She loved planting flowers of any variety, tending a vegetable garden and passing this knowledge and love along to her children and grandchildren. Linda loved to collect cookbooks and try new recipes with friends and family. She was a real movie buff and loved to play bingo and board games with her grandchildren.

Linda worked as a Correctional Officer at Georgia State Prison for 17 years before retiring for medical reasons. She is preceded in death by her parents, E.T. and Maqueen Iddins; daughter, Christina Eason and brother, Glenn Iddins.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacey Eason and Jennifer (Cortney) Marks; others that called her Mom were David Murphy, Phillip Bohler , Kim Stotler, Dancy Wear, Tammy Jones; sister, Larita (Steve) Green and five grandchildren

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30am on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial in Reidsville with Reverend Larry Spence and Sister Mildred Spence officiating. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jose Rueda, Devin Bohler, Art Holmes, Christopher Mathis, Bobby Kennedy, and Joshua Marks.
