Linda Sue Mimbs

Linda Mimbs, age 79, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Community Hospice.  She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 30, 1944, to Roy and Susie Burroughs Wise and had lived in Reidsville for the past 30 years.  She was a homemaker that loved to quilt, watch old movies and westerns.  She enjoyed taking care of her pets and was of the Baptist Faith.  Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herdron Mimbs, her siblings, Butch Wise, Betty Cundoff and James Wise and a granddaughter, Heather Mimbs.

She is survived by her children, Vicki (Rick) Woodcock of Reidsville, Frank (Dawn) Cribbs of NC, Herdron Alvin (Sherry) Mimbs of Lyons, Johnny (June) Mimbs and Tommy (Kim) Mimbs all of Reidsville; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Dr. Rick Cason officiating.
