Linda D. White Miranda, age 67, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Community Hospice.  She was born and reared in Jesup but had lived most of her adult life in Toombs County.  Linda was known by all to be a “jack of all trades and master of ALL”.  In as much, her career modeled that same sentiment.  During her years in business; she owned various businesses spanning various industries.  Among those businesses were Kountry Kennels and Covington Hitching Post in Milledgeville.  In her free time, she would showcase her artistic talents, she loved restoring furniture, painting, sewing, and other various crafts.  She also loved working in her yard planting flowers and maintaining the grounds.  Linda  was a proud mother and grandmother.  She worked hard to raise her daughters to be productive, responsible and loving mothers.  Linda was also a beloved "Nana" that cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member of Smith Street Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Brown White and Mary Bell White; siblings, Betty Jo Woods, Marilyn Dent, Bobby White, Charles White and Jerry White.

She is survived by her children, Tammy (Timmy) Jennings of Waynesville, NC, Connie (Henry) Clifton of Alston, Mary, Timmy, Diane, Donna and Jimmy Byrd; sister, Brenda Walker of Jesup; grandchildren, Heather (Justin) Powell, Drew (Cheyenne) Summerlin, Cody (Kristin) Clifton, Randi Summerlin; great grandchildren, Kristlyn Powell, Keegan Powell, Jack (Jessica Aaron) Clifton, Jasper Clifton, Rainah Summerlin and Greyson Summerlin; lifelong best friends, Faye Goetze, Jan O’Neal and Carrie Whitt; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at noon on Thursday, January 30, 2020 with the funeral services to follow at 1:00pm from the Smith Street Baptist Church with the Reverends Chester Proctor and Christian Burton.  Interment will follow in the Sharpe Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Community Hospice Foundation, 904 Mt. Vernon Rd, Vidalia, GA 30474.
