Linda Marie Williams

Linda Marie Williams, age 70, passed away on November 30, 2020 under the care of Community Hospice surrounded by her loving family.  Linda was known to be a feisty individual.  In fact, her hyperactivity and quick temper earned her the nickname “Shaky” from her son-in-law!  This combination led her to always let you know where you stood with her, as she was direct and genuine in expressing her feelings.  Her greatest companion in life was her dog, “Oreo”.  Once her beloved Oreo was missing for days, only to be found and returned to her.  The family recalls, “winning a million dollars wouldn’t make her any happier than having her Oreo back.”  Linda was definitely a homebody and relished keeping to herself.  A woman that was there when you needed her, honest and genuine in spirit; she will be deeply missed.  She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Left to cherish memories made is her daughter, Ann (Merrill) Anderson of Reidsville; three sons, Andy Tootle and Jody (Stephanie) Tootle both of Reidsville and Jamie Williams of Hardwick GA;  eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a niece and two nephews; other relatives and friends also survive.

In keeping with the way Linda lived her life, the family is honoring her wishes to keeps services private.
