Manassas,
Mr. Lindell Calloway, age 83, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Manassas on July 22, 1937 to Randall R. and Letha Bell Blocker Calloway and lived in Tattnall County most of his life. He was a farmer and retired truck driver. Mr. Lindell loved collecting relic tractors especially Allis Chalmers. He was a member of Anderson Primitive Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Sue Nell, Opal, Vesta, Jack, Betty, Bertie Fred, Julius, Gary and a son in law, Shannon Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Edna R. Calloway of Claxton; children, Lindy Calloway(Susan) of Manassas, Libby Davis of Reidsville and Lonnie Calloway of Collins; step son, Chan (Faye) Williams of Reidsville; sisters, Ann Green of Indian Land, SC and Nancy Jordan of Pembroke; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Monday, January 11, 2021 at Anderson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Jimmy Haire officiating.
Memorial may be given to Anderson Primitive Baptist Church.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Calloway family.
