Lorine Shirley Andrews Bostic

Lorine “Shirley” Bostic was born on May 1, 1941 in Bulloch County, Georgia to the late Lloyd Andrews, Sr. and Viola Andrews. She transitioned from this earth on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Community Hospice in Vidalia, Georgia. Shirley was educated in the Bulloch County School system, worked on the farm with her husband and as a housekeeper for many years. She was a faithful member of Holy Temple. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bostic; sister, Betty Eason and two brothers, Clarence Andrews and Lloyd Andrews, Jr.

 She leaves to cherish her memories; one daughter, Gloria (Charlie) Dugger of Collins; four grandchildren, Danny Holloway, Shretha Holloway (Fred) of Lyons, Marcus (Jan) Holloway of Scotland, GA. and Alen Holloway of Tampa, FL; two great-grandchildren, Mlyana and Malik of Lyons; five sisters, Eva (Roosevelt) Ashley of Ludowici, Dorothy (Eugene) Ashley, Bessie (Johnny) Cheley, Videll (Rickey) Rock, Alline (Willie) Rock all of Cobbtown; two brothers, Glenn Andrews of Cobbtown and James (Amanda) Andrews of Reidsville; aunt, France Brown; two brothers-in-law, Van Eason, Sr. and Terry Bostic; sister-in-law, Adell Murray; along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Alen Holloway, Marcus Holloway, Darrell Williams, Rodney Middleton, Walt Driggers and Corey Cheley.

 The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Friday, July 28, 2023, at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Holy Temple in Cobbtown with Elder Roosevelt Ashley officiating. Interment will follow in the Charlton Grove Cemetery
