Louie Brazell, Jr, age 59, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Louie was born on July 21, 1964, in Reidsville to Jack Louie and Brenda Brazell and had lived in Tattnall County most of his life. He was a 1982 graduate of Reidsville High School. Louie devoted 21 years of his career as the Credit Manager at Farmers Furniture before moving on to dedicate15 years of hard work at Lowes.
While known for professional achievements, Louie's true essence shone through his hobbies and interests. He found joy in farming, fishing, cheering on the GA Bulldogs, collecting antiques, and woodworking. His passion for these activities brought happiness to his life and those he shared them with.
Described as a prankster with a light-hearted spirit, Louie brought laughter and smiles wherever he went. His warm personality touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Louie is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Jessica Brazell of Reidsville; his sister, Jennifer Brazell-Malone of Reidsville; his granddaughter, Jaylee Kate Brazell; nieces, Jenna Dasher of Athens and Marlee (Dalton) Powell of Reidsville; like a son, Dillon Blizzard of Collins; and great-nephew Brooks Powell.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, beginning at 10:00am with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Blizzard, Dillon Blizzard, Matt Blizzard, Charles Bashlor, Mike Thompson, and Wade Scott.
