Louie T. (Rooks) Rogers

Mrs. Louie T. Rooks Rogers, age 87, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Tattnall Healthcare Center in Reidsville.  The Tattnall County native had lived in Reidsville all of her life.  She had worked for many years at Royden Wear.  Mrs. Louie loved to quilt and had a passion for cooking; sharing her love with family, friends, and neighbors.  She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church of Reidsville and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rogers; children, Linda R. Holland, Fred Rogers, and Ronnie Rogers.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Renee G. Rogers of Reidsville; son-in-law, JP Holland of Reidsville; sister, Betty Thomas of Reidsville; grandchildren, Brian (Tonya) Holland of Reidsville, Amanda Holland of Pooler, and Travis (Brandi) Rogers of Reidsville; six great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from the Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory beginning at 6:00pm.  Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from the Pine Grove Baptist Church of Reidsville with the Rev. David Moxley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Sharpe, Roger Sharpe, Enoch Cowart, Don Cowart, Charles Rooks and Dennis Durrence.
