Lyle Harrison McGrath

Lyle Harrison McGrath, age 59, a native of Shellman’s Bluff, went to be with his Father in Heaven on July 4th, 2023.
Born February 13th, 1964 in Wayne County to Alan & Willene McGrath.He graduated from Brunswick High School Class of 1982, then he began his career as a Welder/Pipe Fitter, working alongside his father .His Industrial career led him to Project Manager for Nationwide Projects.

He was a gifted Builder of all things, a Chef to many, a Sunday Golfer extraordinaire, as he would tell it.  The fish didn’t stand a chance when he showed up to his favorite fishing hole. His travels have been far and wide and his friends and family ties run deep. To know him was to love him and he would never let you leave without a bite to eat.

He is survived by his two Children, Hannah & Macy McGrath, his Life Partner, Trinia McGrath, his Mother, Willene Todd McGrath, his Sister & Brother-In-Law Allison McGrath Judge & Chris Judge. And his Granddog, Miller McGrath.

A Visitation will be held at Carter Funeral Home, in Hinesville, Georgia on Thursday, July 13, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6:00pm with Rev. Gabe Gill officiating.

To be followed by a Celebration of Life Friday, July 21st 6 p.m. at Hudson Creek Lodge in Darien, Georgia.
