Lynda (Markell) Goderis

Lynda Goderis, age 72, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia.  The Michigan native had lived in Reidsville for the past eight years.  She was a homemaker that loved to knit, crochet, and work in her flowers.  Mrs. Lynda was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was of the Catholic Faith.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Wanda Markell and her husband, Joseph Goderis.

She is survived by her children, Keith (Kellie) Goderis , Renee (John) Nicholas all of Michigan, Jeffery (Mary) Goderis of Reidsville, and Eric(Candy) Goderis of Colorado; brother, Larry (Maryann) Markell of Illinois; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Monday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 9:00am on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory with the Reverend Charles Jonas officiating.
