Lynn W Nielson passed away on October 29th 2024. He is survived by his
wife Vickie Shirley Ann Nielson and his fifteen children: Craig Nielson,
Alan Nielson, Gary Nielson, Jeni Smith, Justin Nielson, Stephen Nielson,
Christina Kennard, Katherine Nielson, Richard Nielson, Danielle Nielson,
Cory Nielson, Sheri Nielson, Sabrina Wright, Robert Nielson, Joshua
Nielson. He is also survived by his siblings: David Nielson, Marty
Nielson, Penny Larson, Jodi Nielson, and Daren Nielson. His parents were
Leila Jean Woodruff Nielson and Gary L Nielson.
Lynn was a faithful husband whose life mission was to honor his temple
covenants in serving his wife and doing all he could to bring his family
back to Heaven. Lynn is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints and took great joy in serving others and honoring his God
through his covenants. Lynn served honorably in the Army and made great
sacrifices to provide for and support his large family. In his final
years he became intimately familiar with pain and suffering and
considered it an honor to draw closer in this way to His Savior Jesus
Christ. He was an intelligent and hard-working man, spending much of his
life working in Information Technology. He was loved and will be
greatly missed by his friends and family.
Funeral Services in Georgia will be held on November 10th at 11:30 AM
EST 198 6th St SE, Cochran, GA 31014. The funeral service in Cochran GA
will be live streamed via zoom.
Funeral Services in Utah will be held on November 22nd @ 11:00 AM -
12:00 PM MST at 10494 N 4720 W, Highland, UT 84003, followed by a
graveside service @ 12:45 PM at 17111 South Camp Williams Road
Bluffdale, Utah 84065 where his ashes will be laid to rest.
