Mae (Drake) Lynn

Obituary
Mrs. Mae D. Lynn age 90, passed away peacefully
Saturday, January 1, 2011 with her family at her side
at the home of her daughter, Kay Sikes. She was born
April 11, 1920 in Vidalia to Claude and Alice Drake. She
and her husband of 59 years, James Elmer Lynn, had
lived and raised their family in the Lynntown Community
of Tattnall County. She was a member of Little Flock
Primitive Baptist Church and was a loving mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grand-
mother. In addition to her husband and parents she was
preceded in death by three brothers,  Charles H. Drake,
Roscoe L. Drake, James Leslie Drake and great-grand-
daughter, Calli Brooke Medlock.
She is survived by:
Daughters and sons in law, Janice and Joe Mabry of Dawsonville
Kay and Larry Sikes of Cobbtown
Sons and daughters in law, Kenneth and Defenia Lynn of Claxton
Howard and Drue Lynn of Douglasville
Three sisters and brother in laws, Betty and J.H. Collins of Lyons
Joyce Rivers of Collins
Margaret and Jimmy Williamson of Eastman
Ten grandchildren, David and Ann Mabry, Don and Sherrie Mabry, Diane and Shane
Bearden, Debbie and Mike Burns, Ricky and Shonda Sikes, Allison and Andy Shermer,
Dana and Lance Vincent Kim Lynn, Stacy and Geoff Knowles, Alex and Violeta Lynn
Twenty four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00pm Monday from the Reidsville Chapel.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday January 4, 2011 from the Reidsville
Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Elder William Tidwell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Little Flock Church Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers
Memorials may be given to Little Flock Church
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel is serving the Lynn family.
