Collins,
Mrs. Marie Lynn Mulling, age 92, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Griffin House in Claxton surround by her family. She was born on November 20, 1925 in Collins to Potter and Adeline Oliver Lynn. She lived in Collins most of her life and had worked as a seamstress for several shirt factories. She was known as the “Vegetable Lady” as she peddled a lot of vegetables. Mrs. Marie was presently the oldest in membership of Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Mulling; sons, Mike and Greg Mulling and ten siblings.
She is survived by her children, Rodney Mulling and Teresa (Jimmy) Mosley all of Collins; sister, Lucille Poole of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Saturday from the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Sunday from the Chapel of Low County Cremation and Burial with Elder Steve Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Craig Mulling, Scott Mulling, Dylan Mulling, Christian Atkins, Caleb Atkins, and Chris Riner.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Mulling family.
