Mrs. Marion W. Beasley, age 101 passed away Friday October 21, 2011 at her daughter’s residence in Hampton, GA.  She wsa a nurse having worked at Dr. Jelk's Hospital for many years and was a member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Henry C. Beasley, Jr. and a granddaughter, Phylis Snyder.

She is survived by

Two daughters, Virginia Slaughter of Hampton, GA

Jo Bourget of Waltham, MA

Four grandchildren, Joyce Bedard of NH

Clay Slaughter of Hampton

Paul Glisson of MA

Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Sunday from the Reidsville United Methodist Church with the funeral services to follow at 3:00pm with the Reverend Marc Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
