Marjorie Ruth (Rogers) Sharpe

Ms. Marjorie Sharpe was born March 9, 1958, to the late Mr. Effie Rogers and the late Rachel Rogers of Reidsville, GA. She departed this life on July 10, 2017, at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Marjorie attended the Tattnall County School system. She joined St. Phillips at an early age. Late Monday night, God called her home.

She leaves to cherish her memory six brothers, Edward (Shirley Ann) Rogers of Reidsville, Danny (Angie) Rogers of Warner Robins, GA, Dean Rogers and Lamar Rogers of Orlando, FL, Allen Rogers of Reidsville and Wayne Rogers of Graceville, FL; four sisters, Silvia Smith and Jane Rogers of Reidsville, Brenda (Michael) of Walthourville and Vivian Mitchell of Reidsville and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be James Smith, Willie Rogers, Jr., Brandon Berry, Desmond Mitchell, Willie H. Smith and Raymond Smith.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Phillip’s Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Artis Carswell officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery.
