Mark Oliver Ball, age 73, passed away Sunday,
July 5, 2015
at his residence. Mark was born in
Atlanta on August 24, 1941
to the late, James
Eugene Ball and Esther Mae McCosker Ball.
He was a US Army veteran serving in the Vietnam
War. He was
employed with TDK as an
Engineer
and retired after 20 years of
service. Two years
later, he then went to work as an
engineer at
Ft. McPherson, retiring two years ago. Mark
dedicated his life to
his family and
ministry.
He passionately wrote and performed
gospel
music as a lifelong hobby. He and his wife, Theresa
volunteered at
many jails and prisons spreading
the word of
God through prison ministry.
He was
preceded in death by his
brother, Gene Ball and his
wife, Carole;
sister, Margaret Berry
and her husband,
H.L. Berry.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Theresa Ann Ball; son, Mark
Lance Ball and his wife Cyndy;
daughter, Melanie Ball Hill and her
daughter, Sarah Beth Hill; step-daughters, Rachael Davis; Cyndi
Moore and her sons, Sebastian Ferguson, Magnus Moore;
Michelle Romero her husband Otto and
their children, Caleb
McClellan, Franchesca Romero, Maximus Romero; step-son,
Brian Moore and his children, Chelsea Moore, Ethan Moore,
Samuel Moore, Chayton Moore; sister, Betty Lipscomb and
her husband, Tommy L.; also survived by numerous other relatives.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Chief Cornerstone Ministries,
248 GA. Highway 87, Flovilla, GA. Military honors will be rendered by the US Army.
Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Ball family.
