Martha Morris

Ms. Martha Morris, age 97, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Tattnall Healthcare in Reidsville. Born on September 16, 1926, Martha's life was a testament to resilience, joy, and an unending capacity for love.

 Following the loss of her beloved husband, Richard H. Morris, Martha made the selfless decision to move to Tattnall Healthcare, seeking skilled nursing care. Over the past five years, she became a cherished member of this community, infusing warmth and kindness into the lives of residents and staff alike. Her ability to strike up conversations with anyone and everyone showcased her gift for connecting with people. Martha was known for her ever-present smile, a symbol of her kind spirit and infectious positivity. Affectionately called "Mama" by those who knew her, she embodied the essence of maternal love and care, extending her warmth and wisdom to all around her.  Blessed with a long life, Martha's journey was rich with experiences and relationships. Today, as we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the joy she brought into the world. We find solace in the belief that she is now rejoicing in Heaven, reunited with her dear friends and family who predeceased her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will forever live in the hearts of those she touched.

 All are invited to join in honoring her memory.  Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 1:45 PM at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial.

 Graveside Funeral Services will follow the visitation, and be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM at Reidsville City Cemetery with Dr. Rick Cason officiating.
