Ellen Cronk, age 70 of Glennville passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. 
She was born on  April 13, 1954 to Malcolm and Lillie Brumalow Whitfield. Ellen was a homemaker who had spent most of her life in Savannah before moving to Glennville 2 1/2 years ago. She was a member, pianist and "Sister Faithful" of New Covenant Church. Ellen was very passionate about serving the Lord. She was very handy and she loved flowers, sewing, playing the piano and singing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who truly loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Elana Buenrostro; sister, Linda Stewart and her brother, Glenn Whitfield.

She is survived by her husband of 2 years, Raymond Roberts of Glennville; her children, Joseph (Beth) Cronk of Guyton, Teresa Buenrostro of Pembroke, Emily (Jamie) Brown of Pembroke, Mary Ann (Jose) Lugo of Daisy, Timothy (Cierra) Cronk of Glennville, Steven Cronk, Matthew Cronk and Michael Cronk all of Savannah; step-son, Raymond Roberts, Jr; brother, Charles Whitfield of Savannah; 25 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at New Covenant Church , 3563 Noel C. Conaway Rd. Guyton, GA. with Pastor Shannon Mincey officiating.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;  
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; 
they shall run, and not be weary; 
and they shall walk, and not faint.
