Mary Ellen (Miller) Crosby

Mary Ellen Crosby age 73, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center surrounded by her family.  The Wrightsville native had lived in Savannah, Claxton and Statesboro.  She had worked at Claxton Manufacture for twenty years and East Georgia Regional Medical Center for sixteen years.  In her spare time she loved to do arts and crafts.  Mary Ellen is preceded in death by her son, Ricky Daniel Lee; parents, Horace Ivey and Ruby Lee Miller; siblings, James, Wade and E.W. Miller and Betty Taylor.

She is survived by her children, Donna Lee of Statesboro and Timmy Lee of Claxton; siblings, Mattie Martell of Lakeland, FL, Thomas L. Miller of Port Charlotte, FL, Richard Miller of Palm Bay, FL, Patsy Rustin of Claxton, Jimmy Wayne Miller of Savannah, and Darrell Miller of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Ashley Trafficanti, Amber Hodges, Blain Lee, Randi Futch, and Garrett Futch; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am on Thursday, February 26, 2015 with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend Wayne Miller officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brewton Cemetery in Hagan.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Miller, Gregory Powell, Aaron Prater, Terry Rustin, Wayne Miller and Earl Miller.
