Obituary

Mrs. Mary Lizzie White Haggard , age 76 passed away Tuesday August 30, 2011 at the Community Hospice Inpatient Center. The Laurens County native had lived in Tattnall County most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. Mrs. Mary loved gardening, cooking, sewing and singing. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Haggard; parents, Chris and Johnnie White; brother, Travis White and a grandson, Wendell Edwards.

She is survived by:

Son and daughter in law, John and Kathryn Haggard, Jr. of Reidsville

Daughters, Betty Martin and Mary Edwards both of Reidsville

Six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will begin at 5:00pm on Thursday from the Reidsville Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 7:00pm Thursday, September 1, 2011 from the Reidsville Chapel with the Reverends David Moxley and Wally Hill officiating.
