Alma
Mary Taylor Jackson, age 64 passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Comfort Care Hospice. She was born on March 19, 1958 in Jacksonville, Florida to Eugene and Sarah Beaver Wentworth and had lived in Alma for most of her life. She was a member of Miracle Apostolic Ministries in Jesup. Mary was a caregiver who loved to teach and take care of special needs children. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed playing the piano, singing, writing, photography and going to the beach. Most of all, her most favorite thing to do was crafting with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wayne Quitman Taylor and her sister, Sarah Wentworth-Taylor.
She is survived by her son, Rob Beason, Jr. (Carrie) of Jacksonville, Florida; step-son, Kyle Jackson of Atlanta; daughters, Amanda Taylor Quinn (Jason) of Alma, Jessica Smith of Jacksonville, Laverne Knowles of Jesup; sisters, Ernestine Augusta Wentworth of Alma, Geraldine Spivey of Hawkinsville and Brenda; brothers, John, David, and Michael; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren also survive. Her husband, Kenneth Euguene Jackson, Jr.
A celebration of life will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Church of Jesus Christ Holiness in Alma, GA.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emory Liver Transplant Center, 1365 Clifton Rd. NE Atlanta, GA. 30322
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Jackson family.
