Mary Catherine (Sikes) Pezan

Mary “Boo” Pezan passed peacefully Sunday, February 2, 2020 surrounded by family and friends. Boo was born on February 9, 1954.  She graduated from Sol C. Johnson High School.  Boo was a lifelong resident of Tybee Island.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Suzette Warnock, her son Timothy Emmett Moore and her mother Evelyn Carter.

She is survived by her daughters Heather Moore and Jessica Reeves (Jose Diaz). She is also  survived by her brother Charlie Mosley(Shannon) and sister Cindy Cleland (Charles), and her step father Emmett Carter, as well as seven grandchildren, Lauren Moore, Kayley Mackey, Kaybre Wilson, Jadelyn Williams, Kobe Wilson, Jace Williams and Jhett Reeves. Two great grandchildren, Draiden Jackson, Ella Catherine Mackey, and her beloved dog, Trixie, along with several nieces and nephews.
Boo was a long time local bar tender and brought smiles and laughter to all she met. There will be a celebration of life Sunday, February 9th at the Crab Shack from 3-6. In lieu of flowers, the family request all donations be made to Coastal Pet Rescue at coastalpetrescue.org.
