Mary E. Phillips, age 72 passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Meadows Regional Medical Center. Mary was born on February 22, 1949 to James and Becky McLendon and had lived in Toombs County most of her life. She was a 1967 graduate of Lyons High School. In her spare time, she loved to read, fish and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dennis McLendon.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Albert Glynn Phillips; son, Andrew James (Jennifer) Coursey; brother, James A. McLendon; grandsons, Jameson Coursey, Grayson Wood and Gibson Wood; granddaughter, Daisy Manning; great-granddaughter, Blakely Lamb.

A celebration of life will be held 1:00pm, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Chapel of Santa Claus, 15 Holly St. Santa Claus, GA. 30436.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chapel of Santa Claus.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Phillips family.
