Mary Sue (Driggers) Gibson

Obituary

Mary Sue Driggers Gibson, age 69, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Camelia Health and Rehabilitation Center in Claxton.  The Glennville native had lived in Evans County most of her life.  She was a homemaker that loved fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, Williard and Maggie Weathers; husbands, John Walt Driggers and Joe Gibson, Jr.; brother, Ben Weathers.

She is survived by her children, Denise Moore of Cobbtown, Pamela (Steve) Nehr of Tennessee, Rhonda (John) Horel of Daisey, June (Talmadge) Yarbrough of Collins and Joe Walt Gibson of Claxton; sixteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from the Glennville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Thursday, February 7, 2013 from the Antioch Baptist Church in Daisy with the Reverend Kenny Edwards officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brewton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jody Conley, Joey Jones, Ashley Harvey, Cody Smith, Shawn Yarbrough, and Seagal Glisson.

Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel is serving the Gibson family.
