Mattie Estell Lynn Jackson, age 80, passed away on July 27, 2019 at Optim Medical Center Tattnall after a brief illness. The Tattnall native was raised here until the untimely death of her father. As their health began to decline and they saw the need for assistance they, together, moved into Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation in Glennville. She is survived by two stepsons, Otis Walter (Lorna) Jackson and John Jackson; one stepdaughter, Janet Arnold, several nieces and nephews, and other friends she has met along life’s journey.
