Mattie Pritchett McCall

Reidsville, GA

Mattie McCall , age 91, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at her residence.  The Calhoun County native had lived most of her life in Reidsville where she was a homemaker and member of the Reidsville Baptist Church.  She loved reading, canning vegetables but most importantly spending time with her family.  Mrs. McCall is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Perry and Caroline Pritchett; son, Larry McCall and a brother, JW Pritchett.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lamar H. McCall; son, Lamar H. (Paula) McCall, Jr. of Reidsville; daughter, Janice (Jack) Dixon of Blackshear; son, Marc (Heidi) McCall of Reidsville and daughter Faith (Curt) Freeman of Reidsville; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchild; one great great grandson; nephews, John W. Pritchett Jr. and Jimmy Pritchett and nieces, Janet Glasco and Francyne DeLoach.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm Monday, July 27, 2015 at the funeral home.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted 9:00am Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in the Reidsville City Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Wigley officiating.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
