Obituary
Melvin L Duckworth,
age, 66 of Twin City passed away
Monday, January 24, 2011 at his residence. The Emanuel
County native and had lived in Twin City most of his life. He
loved to fish and hunt and was of the Baptist faith. He is pre-
ceded in death by his father John Edward Duckworth, Sr.;
mother Dolly Foskey Duckworth; and step-mother, Margaret
Stevens Duckworth; brothers, J.E. Duckworth, Jr., and
Randy Duckworth.
He is survived by three brothers, Virgil Duckworth of Reidsville,
Carl Duckworth of Lilburn, Earl Duckworth of Metter. Seven sisters,
Lavonia Carter of Cordele, Betty Mincher of Castle Hayne, NC., Edith Stewart of Roswell,
Joyce Griffith, Sue Williams, Becky Bennett, Carol Wynn all of Metter. Several nieces and
nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Wednesday, January 26, 2011 with Memorial funeral services
to follow at 3:00 pm at the Reidsville Baptist Church with the Reverend Steve Miller officiating.
