Glennville
Micah Smiley, age 7, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Children’s at Scottish Rite in Atlanta. Micah was a lifelong resident of Glennville where he attended Oak Grove Baptist Church and was a first grade student at Reidsville Elementary School. A true little boy, he enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, playing with his remote controlled toys and especially his Legos. Micah was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Walt Disney World where he visited several times with his family. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jimmy Smiley.
He is survived by his parents, Jamie and Angie Smiley of Glennville; sister, Ansley Smiley of Glennville; maternal grandparents, Donald and Beverly Caraway of Reidsville and paternal grandmother, Linda Smiley of Lyons. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00pm on Monday, February 3, 2014 from the Reidsville chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm, Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from Reidsville Baptist Church with the Reverends Doug Weisel and Marc Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tracy Sands, Steve Rush, Jason Howell and Richard Sikes.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Reidsville Elementary School and all law enforcement personnel.
Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
