Michael Robert Bevis

Michael Robert Bevis (“Mike”) died of natural causes on September 24th, 2015 at age 66 while traveling through Georgia. A resident of Sanford, Florida, Mike was born in Cleveland and raised outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, graduating from Indian Hill High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from Case Western Reserve University, and was a software engineer for most of his working life. Mike was an inveterate tinkerer, with a particular fondness for engines of any kind; because of his untimely passing, the depth of his creativity will never be known.

Mike is survived by his long-time partner, Patricia Heising, his daughter, Eileen Bevis, his son and daughter-in-law Michael Bevis and Juliana Writer-Bevis, and his sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Chris Dunworth. He is also survived by the mother of his children and former spouse, Susan Bevis. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty Bevis, and by his brother, William ("Bill") Bevis.

According to his wishes, Mike was cremated and there will be no formal service.
