Collins,
Mrs. Mildred Louise Valentin, age 88, passed away December 10, 2022 at her home and under the care of Community Hospice. She was born on September 25, 1934 in Rome, GA to Frank and Alma Jean Willis. She had lived most of her life in Huntington Park, California before moving to Collins, Georgia 4 years ago. She had worked for many years at Huntington Park First Baptist School and enjoyed fishing and gardening. She was known for growing the biggest tomatoes. Mrs. Mildred was a member of Pentecostal Chapel in Huntington Park and is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Bobbie Clark, Jeanette Willis, Rocky Willis, Charles Willis and Sara Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mr. Paul John Valentin of Arizona; her children, Deborah (Tom) Workman of Collins, Ricky (Deloris) Myers of Milner, GA, Perry Myers of Germany, Danny (Marsha) Myers of Meansville, GA and Brenda Myers of Collins; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30am on Thursday, December 15, 2022 with the funeral services to follow at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Brother Francisco Ospina officiating. Interment will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clay Myers, Danny Myers, Christopher Ospina, Richard Ospina, Ricky Myers, and Perry Myers.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the family of Mrs. Mildred Louise Valentin.
