Mrs. Miriam Felicia Grimes, age 54 passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. On this day, God reached out His hands and called her home. She was born in Glennville on August 3, 1964 to the late Lonnie “Dope” Williams and Merkie-Jane Williams. She graduated from Glennville High School in 1982. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Oscar Grimes Jr. on November 30, 1988, and they lived together in Glennville. Felicia was known by her family as a loving and caring person. Felicia had a big heart and she was willing to do anything she could for family and friends. Everyone she came in contact with loved her and she loved them the same. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Wendell Williams; her niece, Shonda Williams.

Survivors include her husband, Oscar Lee Grimes, Jr. of Glennville; she leaves as her legacy, three children, Michael Williams of Shalimar, Florida, Sheneda (Robert) Lawson of Reidsville, Terrance Williams of Glennville; goddaughter, Rose Hankerson of Glennville; she also leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters, Cynthia Kelly of Tacoma, Washington and Sharon (Henry) Lindsey of Glennville. Seven grandchildren, with two more on the way; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Evening Light Reformation Church of God with the Reverend Reginald R. Anderson, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Brick Branch Cemetery.
