Claxton/Hinesville
Mrs. Monika Ilse Sladick age 75, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at The Griffen House in Claxton under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. Monica was born on November 22, 1938 in Helmstedt, Germany and had lived in Hinesville since 1976. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Allenhurst. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Sladick of Hinesville, son, Steve Sladick of Hinesville, three daughters, Debra Brown of Abington, M.D, Veronica Cato of Hinesville, and Dolores Baker of Brooklet; one brother Klaus Bensch of Helmstedt, Germany. Eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren also survive.
Memorial funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 28, 2013 from the Bradley B Anderson Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel with the Reverend Richard Mansel officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
