Obituary
Myrtice Holley Powell , age 49 passed away Saturday October 1, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Vidalia. The Toombs County native had lived in Lyons/ Vidalia area most of her life. She worked for many years in the cafeteria at Southeast Regional Medical Center in Brunswick. She loved taking care of the elderly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Jerlen Holley; sister, Lois Corbitt
She is survived by:
Her husband, Kenneth David Powell of Lyons
Son and daughter in law, Randall Shane and Ashley Holley of Lyons
Sisters and brothers in law, Doris Garten of Warner Robbins
Christine Hammock of Vidalia
Susan and Allen Floyd of Lyons
Cathy Collins of Statesboro
Robert Hammock of Vidalia
Grandchildren, Raychel and Austin Stanley of Lyons
Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from the Lyons Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from the Lyons  Holiness Church with   the Reverend Henry Dowd officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel is serving the Powell family.
