Myrtle Lee (Todd) Caison

Obituary

Myrtle Todd Caison, born March 7, 1927  age 85, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah after a brief illness.  A Glennville native, she was the oldest of twelve children. Myrtle lived most of her life in Long County. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She worked a brief time at ITT Rayonier Nursery in Glennville.  Myrtle was a faithful member of Little Rock Baptist Church. In addition to her family, her passions included cooking, gardening and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey L. Caison,  parents, Ennis and Bertha Todd, sister, Nadine Carter, brother, Jimmy E. Todd, and great-granddaughter, Kennedy Cox.

She is survived by her children, Guy Caison (Estella Watson) of Ludowici; daughters, Lorraine C. (Larry) Flowers of Ludowici, Helen C. (Patrick) Pedden of Ft. Wayne, IL, Eunice C. (Ted) Brown of Lilburn, GA., Faye C. (L.G.) Mitcham of Ludowici, Tammy C. (James) Smith of Ludowici; siblings include, Larry W. (Jean) Todd of Faulkville, GA, Roger D. (Hazel) Todd of Allenhurst, GA, Ronald Todd of Glennville, GA, Harold (Janice) Todd of Glennville, Amanda (Edwin) Moody of Baxley, Jan (Joe) Pulchinski of Alsip, IL; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will begin 6:00pm Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Friday, November 2, 2012 from Little Rock Baptist Church with the Reverends Stanley Todd and Bryan Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Cox, Adam Brown, Matthew Anderson, Brandon Smith, Madison Smith, Arnall Swindell.
