Nancy Elizabeth (Morris) Lanier

Nancy Elizabeth Lanier, age 48, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Evans County.  She was born in Metter on April 8, 1974 and had lived in Metter and Portal before moving to Claxton 3 years ago.  Nancy was the former assistant manager at the Rite Aid in Metter.  She enjoyed spending time on Twitter, knitting and was a member of Aaron Church of God in Portal.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Lanier of Claxton; parents, Curtis (Janelle) Morris of Claxton and Stephanie MacDonald of Mississippi; her daughters, Taylor Calhoun of Statesboro and Abbie Harrell of Portal; brothers, Codie May of Portal and Aaron Morris of Tallahassee, Fl; 4 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial funeral services will be held at Aaron Church of God in Portal on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 7:00pm.
