Nathaniel also has a son by Anita Johnson of Savannah name Gregory Allen Milton. He also has eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, one great- great grandchild and numerous nephews and nieces. Nathaniel was educated in the Savannah Chatham county school system. Take a look around while walking and driving around Savannah and you may see various projects done by him such as curves, sidewalks and roadways constructed throughout the city while working as a professional masonry worker for over thirty years. He was employed by Pittman Construction Company. His mastery of his craft includes work on Truman Parkway.

Nathaniel was a man of few words. You could be in the same room together and if you did not speak, Nathaniel would stay quiet and you would think you were the only person in the room. Nathaniel’s nickname was “Bocat”. It was given to him by his coworkers while working at the Savannah Ice Company. Bocat will be truly missed by those who have known him.
