Norma Jean Teston

Norma Jean Teston, 80, died at home on January 19, 2025.  She was born on December 16, 1944, in Florence Kansas to Maurice George and Mary Knust Ducommun.  She attended and graduated from high school in Florence Kansas.  After graduation she furthered her education by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant working at the nursing home.  She enjoyed playing games on her phone and a phase 10 card game. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Elsie May, Dorothy Lee, Helen Louise, Frances Alice, Faye Ann, daughter, Sherry Thomas and son, Kenneth Thomas.

She is survived by step daughters, Sheila Wyld, El Dorado, Kansas and Tonya Klotz, Smackover, Arkansas, sons, Cody and Charles Teston, Reidsville, Eugene Thomas, Blackwell, Oklahoma, Bud Thomas, El Dorado, Kansas, step sons, Nathan and Jason Teston, both of Texas, sisters, Irene Arlene, Betty Jane, Mary Lou, Judy Lee, Ann Lorraine, brother, Maurice Junior, George Albert, ex-husband, William Isaac Teston, niece, Jeannine Marie Herb, sister in-law, Shirley Riner, brother in-law, Kenny Teston and a four legged companion, Tinker.

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm on February 1, 2025, at the Reidsville Church of God with Reverend William Prince officiating.
