Norman Platt, age 69 passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Platt; daughter, Charlen Platt; brother, Samie Platt.
He is survived by his son, Omar Holcomb of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Barbara Vereen of Jacksonville, Sarah L. McFadden of Fort Stewart, Latasha Platt of Jacksonville, Shadera Nelson of Jacksonville, Reba Cohen of Jacksonville; siblings, Ruben Platt, Rose Ann Shanks, Charles Platt, Theresa Lewis, Eugene Platt, Herman Platt, Ernestine Platt, Elizabeth Platt, Ellis Platt; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive.
A Candlelight Vigil will be held at 6:30 P.M., Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Jacksonville Beach.
Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Platt family.
