Ollie "Ruth" (Goughf) Hutto

Ms. Ollie “Ruth” Goughf Hutto, age 86, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Wayne Memorial Hospital.  The Alabama native was reared in Missouri before moving to Reidsville in the early 1970’s.  She was a retired seamstress.  In her free time she loved to crochet, draw and paint.  Ms. Ruth was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, William Rufus Bryant Hutto; daughter, Elaine Hutto; and four brothers.

She is survived by her son, William “Buddy” Hutto of Reidsville; grandchildren, Lisa (Randy) Holcomb of Reidsville, Heather Sugg of Hinesville, Michael Sugg and Corey Sugg both of Reidsville; six great grandchildren; great nephew, Scotty Goughf.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Friday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday, January 14, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
