Ossie Fred Waters, Jr. age 73, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Tattnall County and had lived in Glennville all of his life. He was owner of Waters Processing and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. In his spare time, he loved to fish and enjoyed watching sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, O.F. Waters and Virginia B. Waters.

He is survived by his children, Jonathan (Mandy) Waters of Glennville, Samantha W. (Wil) Smith of Reidsville, Tracy W. (Jose) Barrios of California and Casey W. (Brian) Lew of California; brother, Wayne E. Waters of Glennville; sisters, Betty Carr of Mississippi, Annette Lott of Daisy, Louise Collins of Hagan, Hilda Swindell of Glennville, Geraldine Adams of Glennville, Debbie Jordan of Reidsville; 7 grandchildren and also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will begin 5:00pm, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Thursday, March 19, 2015 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation Services and Burial with the Reverend Edward Brannen and the Reverend Jerry Knight officiating.  Interment will follow at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Howard, Mark Lott, Vance Howard, Jeffery Sapp, Paul Rushing, and Adam Rushing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Smyrna Baptist Church.
