Otto "Toby" B. Dickey

CSM Otto B. “Toby” Dickey (Ret) , age 80, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Camellia Health and Rehab surrounded by his family.  He was born in McBean, GA on November 30, 1937 to Otto Baynard and Pauline Godbee Dickey.  He joined the United States Army at the age of 17 and served twenty seven years retiring as a Command Sergeant Major.  He was a Vietnam Veteran.  CSM Dickey loved to go dancing and fishing.  His favorite past time was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Joe Dickey.

He is survived by his companion of 22yrs, Lynn Bailey of Collins; daughter, Theresa (Steve) Webb-Fongeallaz of Hahira, Ga; daughter in law, Regina Dickey (Ben) of Collins; seventeen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted12:00pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Reverend Eddis Kirkland officiating.
