Patty Drawdy, age 55 passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center. The Savannah native had lived in Reidsville since 1989. She loved doing jigsaw puzzles, shelling pecans, and eating peanuts. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Drawdy.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Edie Cowart Jones of Reidsville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan and Richard Featherstone of Reidsville, Cathy and Marion Dean of Guyton, and Karen “Rae” Blackburn of Oliver; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am on Tuesday from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am with the Reverend Art Stoddard officiating. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Trey Dean, Harold Dean, Sam Featherstone, Art Stoddard, Marion Dean and Larry Blackburn
